Welcome to my website!

I am a Max Weber Fellow in the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the EUI. I received my PhD in Social Sciences from Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) in July 2026. I am also a member of the HOMES research group, funded by the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation and led by Pedro Riera (PI). While at UC3M, I co-founded, together with my friend Álvaro San Román, the PAPERSS Seminar Series — consider applying!

My research focuses on political behavior and culture, with a strong interest in how individuals learn politically consequential identities. In my dissertation, I study how contextual change shapes social and individual learning: how families and communities transmit culture, and how formative experiences condition political identity. All these channels leave lasting marks on political preferences. I am also involved in different collaborative projects. Methodologically, I combine original datasets with quasi-experimental designs.

Before the PhD, I earned an MS in Economics from the Universitat de Barcelona and a BS in Economics from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
